The Bubby Knott Legacy Lives On

By Bay District Volunteers
January 10, 2025

On January 9, 2025 representatives from Bay District attended a Donation Acceptance Ceremony held by The Knott Family in honor of Bubby Knott.

Bubby Knott built a legacy in our community, and one thing that was highlighted last night was that Bubby believed that love was best expressed through acts of kindness and generosity. Many stories were told last night about the selfless acts of Bubby and one of those was always supporting his local fire departments.

Bay District has had the pleasure of working with the Great Mills Trading Post in the past and also supporting the community surrounding Flat Iron Farm.

Bay District is incredibly grateful to accept this donation from the Knott family. We truly appreciate everything Bubby Knott did for not just us but our community.
