By Engine 93 Committee
November 6, 2010

On Saturday November 6, 2010 First Engineer Les Hansen and Vice President Doug Medley made the trip up to the Atlantic Emergency Solutions Baltimore Shop to bring the Pumper-Tanker down to the station. Our Dealer Randy Schwartz met up with them along the way and when the apparatus pulled into the station it was welcomed by a lot of the membership. This unit turned out to be a very functional piece of apparatus which will hopefully serve the citizens of St. Mary's County for years to come.

Over the next few weeks the Tanker will go for tool mounting and then when it returns the Driver/Operator's will conduct driver's training and pumping evolutions to get familiar with this apparatus. We are hoping for a Mid December in service date. The apparatus committee consisted of the following members: Jeff Evans, Shawn Downs, Pat Stanley, Les Hansen, Steve Stockwell, Jim Foster and Jeff Bixby.

Just a few features on the unit includes a 2500 Gallon Water tank, 3000 gallon folding dump tank, 25 Gallon tanks of Class A and B foam with a Foam Pro System, Triple Dump System, 8 Kw Harrison Generator.

Units: Engine 93

Mutual Aid: Pierce Fire Apparatus, Atlantic Emergency Solutions
